A 13 track experimental album (1h 3m 13s) — released August 7th 2020 on nonclassical
Looping saxophone, vocal poetry and homespun lockdown productions – I hope this finds you well in these strange times is a compilation of new and unreleased works from Nonclassical's eclectic roster of artists.
Released over two volumes, with the second volume dropping in August, the compilation is a response to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. Volume Two features works by Gabriel Prokofiev, Juice Vocal Ensemble, Ben Vince and more. The lockdown setting looms large over the recordings, with domestic recordings, new experimentations, or artists digging into their archives to revisit performances.
To support artists during 'these strange times', Nonclassical are waiving their normal royalty share, meaning that 100% of the revenue generated goes to the artists involved.
